Friday Night Girls go to Vernal

Savannah wanted to know what her friend Alexis did when she went to Vernal, so over Memorial weekend we joined our friends Traci and Alexis as they went to visit Tracis family in Vernal. Jeff and Sam had to tag along. On the way to Vernal we stopped at the cabin at Strawberry and dropped Nebo off for the weekend (he was not welcome at the hotel). The first day in Vernal we went to the Jones Hole fish hatchery and the kids got to feed the fish, then we went swimming at the Hotel. Then next day we went to Dinosaur National Monument and saw Josies Cabin. We will have to go back when they have the new visitor center built. We drove back to the cabin on Sunday and spent the night there with Nebo. Savannah got sick on Monday and spent the day (and the drive home) vomiting. Other that than it was a great weekend and now Savannah knows what Alexis does when she goes to Vernal.

Sams first haircut

One of my employees, who is from Europe, told me that in her country the first person to give a child a haircut becomes their godparent and that it is a great honor for them. So Sams new godmama is Randi Lee Wilde. We finally had to cut off the combover which was hard for me because it was his baby hair and when I had one of my ultrasounds they mentioned how much hair he had so its been a part of him for a long time.

Savannahs big day

Savannah had her big concert last night! She and I spent the morning at practice and then we to the spa and had our toenails painted! Her concert was great and only lasted about half and hour! She did so great and her tap dance was the best dance of the whole show!

Graduation Party

Jeff planned a great party, with food, music, and fire. My friends from the hospital came. Rachel brought her boyfriend(s). Kathy brought Grandpa Oral, and poor Hunter had to ride his Dads motorcycle home in shorts and it was freezing!

Graduation

Well, after 12 years I finally graduated from the University of Utah.
On Thursday night my parents, Kenny and Grandpa Goff joined us for a formal dinner at Spencers. The next morning we went to the Huntsman center for the big walk, I didn't trip either! When they read my name I was waiting for a crow call from Ken but he went with the whistle instead. My parents, Kathryn, Kenny, Kim, Noah and of course Jeff, Savannah and Sam were there.

easter

EAster was also my Dads birthday, so we went to church and then to my parents house for dinner where Sam had carrots for the first time. Get it??? carrots on easter Ha Ha Ha!

Newspaper rock
Savannah at Arches

I thought it was the Easter "Jeep" Safari, look at the size of that truck!

Sego canyon

Baby kangaroos never had it so good.

We spent conference weekend in Moab thinking we were a head of the "Easter Jeep Safari". We were wrong. Oh well, we had a blast anyway, even if the motel 6 cost $140.

Samuels blessing

Samuel Kendrick Birch was so very, very good on his big day, he slept a few hours in a row the night before and never even cried at church! It was a beautiful blessing.
Ama and Squakers at our home.

the greatest generation holds the newest generation

Papa Kenny loves Sam the man.

We were so happy everyone could join us for the blessing, although we very much missed Misty and Dr. Susu, we know they wanted to be there. We love you all so much and are so happy Sam could be born into such a wonderfull extended family.
